The trajectory of the Salão de Arte was enriched when it incorporated new artistic events and when it highlighted the Brazilian art. Without rejecting the intrinsic value of its origins – the antiquary segment and the heritage of collectable object – the event today offers a more comprehensive, and evolved proposal.

I had the opportunity to visit fairs in Paris, Madrid and New York and I can assure you that the Salão de Arte, in its successive presentations, was always favorably compared in terms of quality and diversity, denoting careful and accurate selectivity.

Such eclectism is one of its most attractive characteristics. In this manner it stirs up the interest of different sectors of a public aware and expert – not only in São Paulo, but from all over Brazil, the growing parts of admirers. The signature of Vera Chadad, in the present context, gives to the event a specific seal of good taste and organized efficiency, beneficiating exhibitors, the lovers of arts and public in general.

As related to the 2007 edition, even if the visitor has preferential interests or inclinations, I initially recommend the maximum use of the opportunity to get acquainted with the set of forms and artistic expressions exhibited. Then, slowly enjoy the contemplation of the segments of specific work of art that you most admire. And, above all, never hesitate, if you have any interest or specific curiosity, to dialog with the exhibitors.
