The
art circuit transforms itself; it renews itself. In a continental country,
at the mercy of the most unpredictable economic variations, an event such
as the Salão de Arte would solely become
reference because of its longevity.
However, each edition has its unique characteristics, its challenges. And
the organizing team of the Salão is in charge of transforming and renewing
its concepts. Thus, it is possible to sustain the premise of offering to São
Paulo an actual ideal of what can be currently viewed in the main art collections
across the country.
Once again, this goal has been achieved. For that reason, at the moment the
doors of the 2006 Edition are open, we will share with our public a feeling
of accomplishment.
